Rare Ovarian Cancer Collaborative Analytics Platform

Advancing research in rare ovarian cancers through a collaborative federated data network

We’re thrilled to introduce the Rare Ovarian Cancer Collaborative Analytics (ROCCA) platform, a ground-breaking international initiative funded by the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA). ROCCA is transforming how researchers collaborate and analyze data to accelerate breakthroughs in rare ovarian cancer!

About ROCCA

The ROCCA platform was established to facilitate and advance distributed analysis across an international network to make data more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). By bringing together a collaborative research community, ROCCA aims to maximize the value generated from primary data collection, accelerate research discoveries and translation, and ultimately improve the lives of those affected by ovarian and gynecological cancers.

Our Aims

Build a Collaborative Research Community

Establish a strong, connected community focused on rare ovarian cancers, making research data more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).

Launch the ROCCA
Data Gallery

Create a publicly accessible catalogue showcasing data holdings from participating institutions across the ROCCA network.

Build a Distributed
Data Network

Develop a proof-of-concept distributed data network, enabling global collaboration through the execution of two foundational projects: Mucinous Ovarian Carcinoma (MOC) and Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancers (LGSOC).

Establish a Federated Analysis Network

Implement a federated network and governance model for secure data analysis, including the technical infrastructure to support distributed and federated analytics with machine learning and AI algorithms.

Introducing the ROCCA Data Gallery

As part of the ROCCA platform, we’re launching the ROCCA Data Gallery, a user-friendly searchable catalogue that displays data holdings from institutions involved in ovarian cancer around the world. This tool will help investigators identify potential collaborators and explore available datasets relevant to their research.

Help shape the future of ovarian cancer research! Complete our 5-minute survey to share your data holdings and express interest in joining the ROCCA network. Your contribution will help build a powerful resource for international collaboration and innovation.
